Getting Around
The conference venue is a short walk from the Waikiki neighbourhood, most famous for Waikiki Beach, a popular surf beach. There are also hotels, fashion stores, cocktail bars, and restaurants galore. The conference venue is also just 8 miles (12 km) from the Honolulu International Airport.

Visa Information
ACM is able to provide visa support letters to attendees as well as authors with accepted papers, posters, or members of the conference committee.
If you are a recipient of ACM, SIG, or Conference funded travel grant, please include this information in your request.
If you are an accepted author (i.e., your submission was accepted) that needs a visa support letter in advance of registration you should fill out the form at https://supportletters.acm.org. Please allow up to 10 business days to receive a letter. All requests are handled in the order they are received. Please notice that this is only possible for accepted authors.
All other visa support letters can be requested through registration.
Gary Marsden Travel Awards
The Gary Marsden Travel Awards support undergraduate and graduate students, early-career researchers (such as those who are ≤5 years post-graduation), and those suffering from financial hardship or lacking institutional support, in attending ACM SIGCHI conferences. Please see the call for applications for specific eligibility criteria, details of the award, and review timelines. There are seven deadlines: the 9th of January, February, March, May, July, September, and November at 11:59 PM AoE.
